Self-help in a platter

"What makes you get up every morning?" asked a self mastery enthusiast. Are you kidding? You have to get up. That's how you naturally are. OK. Am I supposed to say something like - I get up every morning to work towards my goal/see the beauty of nature. Is that what am I supposed to say? If that is the case, why do you go to sleep at all? Well, the reply looks awefully irrational but so is the question. Just as you cannot keep without sleeping no matter how much important your pursuit is, you cannot remain asleep when you when you don't have one. And for those who wakes up to a purpose, I don't think they they go all through .. Ok, here I get up-I am here in the world for this purpose (raison d'etre is the word, if i'm not wrong)-I exist for this reason, comeon. You wake up because you are not dead. And you wake up because you cannot defy nature.

Yeah, it is a much better life when someone is motivated and driven. But you know what, that's a rare thing. I mean asking someone the reason for the being is something like asking if they have found moksa. And to tell the truth, the thing that kept you as a child no more interests you and at times you are driven by more that one thing.

Given all the above things, the question actually boils down to something like "what you like doing?". Now isn't that easy? I like a lot of things: eating, drinking, playing and all. I like all these things. I do some work, which gives me money and recognition which I like (as of now). In the mean time if I get something I like very much, I will certainly go for it.
