Hi,

I am writing this as I am watching a Russel Peters show on Youtube (hell ya, shows on youtube). He is making fun of a Chinese guy on his show and the point of the joke is how he looks asian but his name is Peter. I am all drunk. A weird thought (and a feeling) comes to my mind. How would it have been if Jyoti Choudhury moved to the other side, the west. Jyoti's alternate history.

My vision: Jyoti walks into this bar where his fellow asian friends have thrown a party, probably a birthday party. The room is otherwise full of mostly white people. Finally he locates his friends and walks up to them and greets everyone. For everyone, it is just another party. But for Jyoti, he realises that it is party afterall, in the wild west!! He knows what happens in India and what happens in middle east. But this is where everyone dreams about. His friends doesnt talk in assamese or hindi, all that he cares about are here, he feels he is included in whatever is around him. He cannot think about life without all that is around him.

His girlfriend works in a animation company. Being from the obscure east European country, she was a lonely as Jyoti. When the duo met couple of days in the office elevator and then suddenly in the park, it was just a matter of time before they got along. With an exotic accent and passion for creativity, Jyoti was naturally drawn to her. She liked Jyoti's curiosity and honesty.

Recently both have taken part in the state of Vermont's cheese day, making cheese from the ice-treated chesse which could increased the consumption life of cheese. It was liked by mostly the single peole and smalls families who wanted to last their stock longer.

Jyoti is a web developer for a company. Having worked with a software company for some years, he has now settted into a end user company maintaining its customer service portal. This has let him explore other walks of life including getting a girlfriend with whom he as been living for the last 1 year.
